Clearwater Resort Golf Course

Located on the outskirts of Christchurch only a few minutes from the airport, Clearwater Resort Golf Course is a must-visit golfing destination if you are travelling in the South Island.

Designed by Bob Charles, Clearwater holds the NZPGA every year, and features water on almost all holes, with many having a forced-water carry either off the tee or on approach shots. There are, however, usually easier escape routes for the less adventurous player!

The resort itself is tranquillity encapsulated, and incorporates luxurious villa accommodation with golf course views, horse-riding trails, walkways and fishing streams.

Central Christchurch is a 20 minutes drive into town , and is often described as the most English of New Zealand's cities. It also has an international airport, and is a pleasant stepping off point for all the adventures the South Island has to offer.
