White Island Scenic Flight

This scenic flight will see you will fly out over the Pacific Ocean (where migrating whales and dolphins are often sighted) to experience the volcanic fury of nature at work on White Island, New Zealand's most active 'ring of fire' volcano.

You will land inside the crater rim and spend approximately 1 hour on an informative and spectacular guided tour of this fascinating attraction, including the remains of the original 1930s sulphur mine.

This trip departs from either Rotorua (where the flight will take you north over Hell's Gate thermal valley), or Tauranga, where you will head out to White Island directly.
