Cape Kidnappers Golf Course

Cape Kidnappers went straight into the US Golf Magazine's Top 100 in its first year at number 27, the highest new entry in the ranking's history.

Take in the spectacular surroundings when you arrive there, either by road or by helicopter, and play the course, and you will know why...

Built by the owner of Kauri Cliffs, and set high up amongst isolated farmland on the peninsular to the south of Hawke's Bay, the course blends into the environment so well that at times you wonder whether a golf course exists around you. Tucked away in this remote corner of New Zealand, the club's exclusivity is reflected in the holes themselves, the course leaving minimal margin for error.

Deep gullies, cavernous bunkers, steeply sloping greens, and uncompromising cliff edges make this one of the more challenging courses on the New Zealand circuit.
